Making Custom Ugly Sweaters with Two Colors

Making Custom Ugly Sweaters with Two Colors

September 30, 2016

As custom ugly christmas sweaters are often made for something like a marketing campaign, there may be a need to use just two colors. This concerns people as they fear that their sweaters won't have the impact needed, yet if more colors are used it may not be in line with the brand and may lose focus which will distract from the campaign. Two colors work! There's no need to worry but there are a few things to keep in mind.

Pick the strongest color as the solid

This means that the color of the actual sweater should be the strongest of the two colors. Take the example of Nando's ugly sweater. They need to use red and white only. By using the red, the entire sweater pops and when it was shared time and time again on social media, it was an instant success and a sweater that was very much sought after.

Be like Taylor Swift and let the solid color do the talking

We love this ugly sweater worn by Taylor Swift. Again, the solid color of the sweater is the stronger of the two but the design itself is quite detailed yet looks festive and cute. That's the thing to take from this point when using just two colors-don't crowd the custom ugly christmas sweater with a design that takes over. It won't work. Make sure the actual solid color of the sweater can be clearly seen. That is what will make the design itself shine.
