If you're incorporating stripes into a custom ugly christmas sweater, here are a few points to take on board
Make it a Part of the Design
If you want to use stripes, it should be made as part of the design. Otherwise it will look out of place. If it's a custom ugly christmas sweater you want, then a clever way of incorporating stripes is by doing so on the sleeves. Think of something like the Grinch Christmas Sweater or an elf top that has green and white stripes.
Choose 2 Colors
If you have a design as well as stripes for the design, use 2 colors. That will have a really great impact and will work with the design-the sweater will pop!
Add Design on the Stripes
If you want stripes to be the entire sweater, then add little symbols on to the actual stripes....you can have lines of little elfs, santas , gifts etc. That way you won't miss out on a festive theme by just focusing on stripes.
