Create a Custom Ugly Sweater with Snowflakes

Create a Custom Ugly Sweater with Snowflakes

September 30, 2016

We've been making sweaters for years at Roody Originals so when we're making our own designs for sweaters, we notice when something is a little "off". This comes from all the years of making sweaters and having samples made that were just quite not right. It's usually something tiny, something oh so very small but that actually has a large impact.

When you've your design completed, sit back and take a really good look at it. Is it fully finished? Adding something a little festive can make all the difference. Snowflakes can really add to custom ugly sweaters. There are different variations of snowflakes, some are quite detailed and others small little balls of snow so it will vary depending on your design.

How many Snowflakes?

There is definitely such a thing as too many snowflakes! If you fill your sweater with snowflakes, what about the design? It will be completely lost and the sweater will look far too busy. Place a couple around the design near the neckline.

Where should I put my Snowflakes?

As above, if you're adding a couple, near the neckline. However if they look out of place or the design is too busy, add a band of snowflakes. This can be added to the sleeves or hem and is a nice finishing touch to the sweater.
