How Miller Lite brought their Holiday Campaign to New York

September 30, 2016

For Miller Lite's  2015 Holiday Campaign, they took over New York for a month. They wanted to go one step further than normal billboard posters and they certainly did. They had a giant knit holiday sweater themed billboard.

The billboard featured the Miller Lite Steinie bottle which first launched back in 1975 and to coincide with that, they released Miller Lite Steinie bottles for the holiday season and Miller Lite ugly custom sweaters.

"Bringing back the Original Steinie Bottle allows us to share an important part of our history," said Greg Butler, Miller Lite senior director of marketing. "This time of year is about connecting with friends and family and those moments deserve something special. The Steinie bottle allows us to deliver our great beer in a special package that is perfect for these occasions."

The impressive Miller Lite billboard was made with 300 lbs of yarn, 300,000 crochet stitches and took a massive 250 hours to construct.
